Stuck in Space

I’ve never been to space, but I love to look at the sky.

If you didn’t know, astronauts got back from being stuck in space for nine months. These two astronauts have been stuck since June 5, 2024.

The astronauts, Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore were stranded on the International Space Station because of a failed Boeing space craft, which was deemed unsafe.

It’s been a long nine months floating in space. Thankfully, they landed back on earth, due to the Space X crew that had to send two Russian astronauts to take their place. Did you know that Russian astronauts can only come back when a spacecraft of four comes and gets them? How interesting!

The only reason Suni and Butch survived was because of other space craft doing missions to deliver food, water and oxygen.

Now that they’re back, they’ll have to adjust to being back on Earth. Being gone so long outside of Earth, can have many side effects, but much of that is still unknown territory as it’s not normal for people to be stranded in space.

Hopefully, they can recover, and I look forward to hearing their stories of space.
