Leadership can be heavy

I was going to write an article about Columbus Day, but I have changed my topic because of recent events.
Too many people are dying for their opinions. When I saw the news of Charlie Kirk, it hurt me. I wondered, “Could someone want to harm me because of my thoughts or opinions?” If I am honest, that is a scary thought.
I know that God has us as Americans in his hands. Sometimes, in leadership or when you are in the front of certain arenas, it can be heavy. Leadership carries weight. It is a big responsibility.
Do we understand what it means to be good leaders? I know that if I do my best to be a good leader, I can be an example to those around me and hopefully encourage them to be the best versions of themselves. I believe that to be a good leader is to show others that even if you fail, you can get up and keep on trying.
Life is full of challenges. In my challenges, I can learn from them and pass on useful information to help those who may be going through similar situations.
A good leader wants to see the people around them successful too. Teamwork makes the dream work.
I want to be a good leader and show love. I want to be strong enough to stand for my beliefs and encourage those around me to be strong in their beliefs.
Prayers for all those leaders killed for their beliefs. They carried their weight well.
