West Texas VA sites to host Drug Take Back programs on April 24-25

The West Texas VA Health Care System will join the Drug Enforcement Administration in hosting National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on April 24–25, offering free, anonymous disposal of unused or expired medications at multiple locations.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day, with VA police collecting tablets, capsules, patches and other solid forms of prescription drugs as part of a nationwide effort.
West Texas VA Health Care System Police will be stationed at the following locations:

For more than a decade, the event has provided a way for Americans to safely dispose of old, unwanted or expired medications that can pose risks if left in homes.
Take Back Day includes nearly 5,000 drop-off locations nationwide.
