Father’s Day Special

A lot of things happen in June. One of the most significant things is Father’s Day. We have decided to honor Father’s, this month, and we have selected two Special Men and have asked one of their daughters to write about them. The two men highlighted are Gene Burgess and Joe Marshall. I attend a Men’s Breakfast with Gene and on many occasions I have heard him express how proud he is of his Family. So I asked one of his daughters to pay honor to him. His daughter, D’Edra Burgess, wrote a tribute on behalf of the Burgess family. The next tribute is written by Julie Neill, one of Joe Marshall’s daughters. The three of us are members of the same Kiwanis Club and we sit at the same table every Thursday. When Julie joined Kiwanis I could tell that she had so much love for her dad. I have known for quite some time that I wanted to high-light this Father and Daughter.
