McClain Honored at Dinner

Mrs. Evalin McClain, former Assistant City Manager, was honored for her Outstanding Leadership skills at a dinner hosted by the Abilene Black Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. McClain’s position was eliminated due to reduced sales tax revenue. Floyd Miller, Chamber President, said, “We are losing a very gifted and talented person that gave every project she tackled 100%. She will be missed by the Chamber as well as the Citizens of Abilene.”
