Abilene ISD’s Free Summer Meals Program continues through July 17

Abilene ISD’s 2026 Summer Feeding Program will offer free meals to children and teens 18 and under at several locations throughout the summer. No registration is required.
Meal service is underway and will continue through July 17 at participating sites, with breakfast and lunch available at select locations.
This year’s summer meal sites include:
- Abilene Zoo, 2070 Zoo Lane; Breakfast, 7:30-8:30 a.m.; Lunch, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- YMCA-Redbud, 3125 S 32nd St.; Breakfast, 8-9 a.m. Lunch, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Redbud Splash Pad, 3125 S 32nd St.; Lunch only, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Martinez B & G Club, 1301 Clinton St.; Breakfast, 8-9 a.m. Lunch, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Meals are served Monday through Friday; note that no meal service will be offered on July 3.
